In this first edition of Websurfer we look at the website for The Chuck Jones Center for Creativity. This is the website for the non-profit group was founded in 1999 by four-time Academy Award recipient and legendary animation creator and director, Chuck Jones.

The website is a nice presentation of the group’s education efforts in bringing art to people, primarily children. According to the website, the Center’s vision is to “inspire the innate creative genius within each person that leads to a more joyous, passionate, and harmonious life and world.”

The website includes details about a number of events hosted by the center including creative workshops, an art camp, drop in and draw sessions most Saturdays, art classes, exhibitions, lectures, film festivals, and an online community, all of which spring from the material in the Chuck Jones archive.
