Graphic Designers Get ready for .design Domain

On May 12th, graphic designers and other creatives will finally have the opportunity to present their work in a unique, powerful, modern way – with a .design domain name. Parallel to the launch of .design, a new domain name registration site, graphic.design, will provide designers with a one-stop shop for securing their .design domain name.
Jordyn Barton, Director of Marketing at graphic.design, is calling .design the “most anticipated new domain extension yet.”
“By nature, graphic artists appreciate visual appeal, functionality — good design,” says Barton. “In fact, they probably spent a considerable amount of time deciding what their web address should be, but chances are their ideal .com was already taken. This scenario has been forcing many businesses and individuals into some pretty clunky domain names. With .design, they can finally get a great name that clearly reflects who they are or what they do.”
Whether building a website from scratch or just sprucing up an existing site with a new .design domain name, graphic.design makes it easy. Furthermore, graphic.design prides itself on customer service, so help is always close at hand.
Barton adds, “graphic.design and the new .design domain extension will give individuals and businesses the opportunity to make their web address as personal as their design aesthetic. Their prospective employers and clients will immediately connect them to being at the forefront of style and design.”
Many websites are taking pre-orders or pre-registrations for the .design name. Designers can pre-register their name at Barton’s company website at http://www.porkbun.com, Godaddy.com, Enom.com and others
